James Der Derian

James Der Derian is a research professor of international studies at the Watson Institute, where he directs the Global Media Project. Der Derian completed a M.Phil. and D.Phil. in international relations as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, and he has been a visiting scholar at MIT, Harvard, Oxford, and the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. He has produced two other documentaries, VY2K and After 9/11, and is the author of several books, including Virtuous War: Mapping the Military-Industrial-Media-Entertainment Network.

David Udris & Michael Udris

Co-directors, producers

Filmmakers Michael and David Udris (Udris Film) produce feature documentaries and commercial projects. Their work has screened internationally at film festivals, in museums, and on television. Their previous collaboration with James Der Derian, After 9/11, aired on Link TV and is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Communication in Frankfurt, Germany.

In addition, Michael has been a Visiting Assistant Professor and David the Media Facilities Manager at Brown’s Center for Modern Culture and Media.
